Alvin Boi-Man Lee

Alvin B. Lee, 64, of Kent, WA, passed away peacefully with his daughter by his side on Monday, September 28, 2015 at Valley Medical Center due to an unexpected recent illness. Alvin was born in Seattle, WA to Pooy Loon Lee and Shuet Fong Hui. He lived most of his life in Kent, WA.  Alvin was an athletic person who enjoyed working out regularly at LA Fitness and also loved hiking/climbing. Alvin even accomplished climbing Mt. Rainier! Alvin was part of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local No. 77 and retired from Seattle City Light with 26 years of service as a Journey Worker in Charge in 2011. He received an Official Service Award by the Mayor of Seattle and Seattle City Council in 2010.  Alvin was predeceased by his dearly loved father, Pooy Lee, who passed away in 2011.  Alvin is survived by his daughter, Pauline M. Cooper; his grandchildren, Jonah (16 yrs) and Jaden (6 yrs); as well as his sisters, Lilly, Mary, and Jane; his brother, Roy; and his step-mother, Cai Lei.  The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at Valley Medical Center Intensive Care Unit. Their dedication and effort to provide quality care during his stay were a heartwarming blessing to the family. We thank God for the gift of his life and the blessing of the time we spent with him.
