Betty Janet (Tarlson) Wick

Betty died peacefully at home on May 23, 2015.  Born February 11, 1923, Betty was raised in Georgetown and graduated from Cleveland High School. After high school she graduated from Edison Technical College and went to work for the Army Corps of Engineers and later Seattle City Light. She was proud to have worked on the Chief Joseph Dam Project.  Betty was a kind and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and dedicated to her family.  Her interests included music and animal welfare. Betty was a member of Mt. Baker Park Presbyterian Church since 1948.  She is preceded in death by her daughter Cathy (1964) and her husband Harold (1984).  She is survived by her children Tom (Marianne), Robin (Dan), David (Vicky) and Beth (Steve). A memorial service will be held on June 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Baker Park Presbyterian Church, 3201 Hunter Blvd., Seattle.  In lieu of flowers, please send remembrances to Elderplace—Sisters of providence, 4515 MLK jr. Way South #100, Seattle, 98108.
