As one of the neighborhood rug rats, I always felt welcome at the Myre's house. Gloria was such a role model for me, as a woman who took great joy in her career, her family and in life in general. Gloria lived life so fully and enthusiastically...I remember her just like the picture on this memorial page, wearing a big smile and radiating joy. She will be greatly missed. My condolences to all the Myre family...

I will remember Gloria and her husband David as two wonderful people who taught me a lot about life and friendships in my early formative years. Thanks to both Gloria and David for wonderful memories and especially for fun at Sun Lakes. It was always a blast..

As a congregant at Mt. Baker Park Presbyterian, I knew Gloria well, and her presence at a Tuesday Morning Bible Study, still held at the church, was always a treat for us. I last saw Gloria at the recent Christmas Day service, and Gloria was as bubbly as ever, saying that she "loved this place." I remember that Gloria always shared at our Tuesday Morning Bible Study where she'd been to church the previous Sunday, and it was sometimes an education for me. I never doubted, however, that MBPPC really did fill her with love, and she always gave that back to us in the congregation.
Gloria's gone on to what I expect is a heaven full of "places she loved," always the best of what she remembered from her lifetime. God bless her memory, and, you, her loving family for the support you gave Gloria so that she could stay in Seattle and continue to grace us with her love.
