Margie (Rose) Albanese

Margie (Rose) Albanese, born December 27, 1928, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2016. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Henry A. Albanese, Margie leaves behind her children and their spouses: Toni Albanese-Williams (Harold), Alan Albanese (Carol) and Mike Albanese.

She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren: Nicolas, Matthew, Sarah and Andrea Albanese.

After retiring from Boeing in 1991, she became a world-wide traveler and each time, was ready to plan the next adventure after returning home. A native of Seattle, Margie lived on Beacon Hill for most of her life until recently moving to an assisted living facility. She lived life to its fullest and always put her family first.

A private memorial service will be held by the family at Calvary Cemetery, 5041-35th Ave NE, Seattle, WA on Thursday, December 22 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to their choice of the following: Bloodworks Northwest, Swedish Hospital or Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research.
