Michael W. Quick

Michael W Quick, age 60 died Feb. 5th at his home in Seattle after a long battle with heart failure. He was born Aug. 5, 1955 and came to Seattle in 1964. He was a machinist. Michael loved animals, following NASCAR, fishing and riding his bicycle. Michael was mugged in July of 2014 in front of his home in the late afternoon/early evening. He was out doing some clean up and was attacked. The attacker broke his leg. He then had to have surgery and rehab for his leg. He became disabled as his leg was never the same. He was unable to walk very far, ride his bike, work or enjoy the things he loved. The attack also took a toll on his heart. He is preceded in death by his parents Ike and Shirley and his brother James. He is survived by three sisters Leslie Miller (Larry) of Granite Falls, Doreen Sylwester (Richard) of Redmond and Susan Masterson (Mark) of Bothell and a nephew, great nephew, nieces and great niece. Private family services were held with cremation. Arrangements were under the direction of Columbia Funeral Home
