Peter Cantil

On March 23, 2018 Pete left us while at home in Renton.  He would’ve turned 54 years old on April 29th.  He is survived by his two son’s, Justin and Tyler Cantil, his sisters Marie A. Ruybal, Bernadette McRae, Cheryl Cantil and his sister-in-law Nancy Jacobson and her husband Jeff Jacobson.  He has now joined his late parents, Raymond and Dolores Cantil along with his brother, Dennis Cantil.  Pete also had nieces and nephews, some with nicknames that are the only names some people know, Martin Chen (Marty) and his children, Kailee Chen, Jarrod Chen, Gavin Chen, and Kenneth Chen.  Tracie Mason (“Space” Cadet) and her husband, Chris Mason.  Their children, Roget (Curly “Sue”), Shaun Williams, II, Jai’len Mason, and their grandson, Tate Williams.  Meridith (“Beav”er) Cantil and nephew, Matthew (Matilda) Passino.

Pete also leaves behind an enormous circle of family and friends of whom he has left his mark in their lives and has touched their lives in special ways.  He was well known for being a very laid-back type of guy who loved many sports teams such as the Dallas Cowboys, Seattle Seahawks, Mariners, Thunderbirds and the Calgary Flames.

Towing was Pete’s choice career.  Since June 16, 1988 towing was all Pete has done.  His whole life was spent helping others and he made it well known to those that knew him well, he was the one to be called directly if they ever needed help.  Pete put so much time into working, he never took vacations, but found a way to still live life to the fullest. 

Pete will be buried at Washington Memorial on March 30th at a graveside service for family.
