Teonisto Geovanni Morellato

January 7, 1930 ~ January 6, 2018 (age 87)

Teo J. Morellato passed away on January 6, 2018, at the age of 88.  He was a life long resident of Seattle.  Teo attended Franklin HS and the UW.  After graduating from college, he served for three years as a lieutenant in the US Navy during the Korean War.  He retired from the Naval Reserve in 1970.

 

Teo had several careers during his life.  He worked at Boeing as an electrical engineer in the missile program, sold marine electronics, and ended his working​ years in commercial real estate.

 

Teo loved climbing, hiking, skiing and scuba diving.  He was an active member of the Mountaineers for many years.  He was also active in the Dante Alighieri Society and participated in the annual Festa Italiano.  Teo volunteered in a number of capacities at the Museum of Flight.  Teo and Anne, his wife of 45 years, traveled to many wonderful places including Europe, Russia, Southeast Asia, China, Africa, Australia, and Central and South America.  At home, Teo loved gardening, cooking, and walking the neighborhood with a succession of amazing dogs.

 

His family wishes to thank Providence Hospice of Seattle and the staff at Mirabella for their excellent care.  Teo is survived by his wife, a nephew, a brother-in-law and close friends.  A private service is planned.
