Albert Charles Witt of West Seattle died on February 22nd, 2024. He passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the age of 88 years old. Albert was born March 27th, 1935 in Seattle to Albert J. Witt and Julia Witt. Albert was preceded in death by his sister Kathleen Reddeman, Monica Arkle and James Witt. Albert is survived by his loving brothers Thomas and Edmund Witt, and his devoted sister Charlotte Moralez, along with 14 nieces and nephews and countless other loving family members.
Albert graduated from Odea High School and soon after joined the armed forces. After serving his country, Albert had a long career as a Butcher at both West Seattle and Burien Safeways. Albert was the patriarch of his family, who supported and cared for all of his younger siblings. Albert was a natural outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He enjoyed playing golf, but most of all, spending time with his family playing cards, talking, laughing, and having an ice-cold Hamm’s or the occasional snort of whiskey.
