Joe Tomassi

Joe Tomassi

Funeral Director

With over 20, years of funeral service experience I still get up every morning absolutely loving what I do. Helping others get back to where they need to be, meeting with families and simply listening by letting people talk to tell their story is what I think more funeral professionals need to do.

If we can take away the tunnel vision by helping with the stress and fear that comes with loss and create a positive experience, the best that we can, thats very rewarding to me and I believe it to be empowering to the families we serve.

One of things that I'm very proud of, is being involved with all of the communities and cultures we serve. Characteristics of a funeral can be as unique as the life being honored. Tradition is important to many cultures and Columbia can help you plan a service that will honor your loved one, whether traditional or non-traditional, I would love to show you how to incorporate small or larger details that will honor your heritage.

Joe, is a proud member of the following organizations; Italian American Professionals, Order Sons of Italy, Washington State Funeral Directors Association (WSFDA)  National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) Cremation Association of North America (CANA) Joe is also a Certified Matthews Crematory Operator.
