These prices are effective as of April 29, 2019 and are subject to change without notice.

The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the goods and services you selected.

Services of Funeral Director and Staff

Basic Services of the Funeral Director & Staff and Overhead $1,900.00

This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains.)

Personnel available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to respond to first call
Arrangement interview
Bookkeeping, accounting and general clerical administration
Securing and recording the death certificate and disposition permit, as necessary
Coordination of service plans with cemetery and/or other parties involved in the final disposition

Use of Facilities, Staff and Equipment for Services in Our Funeral Home

Preparation of Remains

Embalming $800.00

Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial. If you elect NOT to order embalming, Washington State law requires refrigeration of an unembalmed body.

Refrigeration $225.00

If embalming is not desired, there will be a charge for refrigeration at the rate of $195.00 for the first 5 days and $50.00 each additional 24-hour period, or portion thereof.

Transportation

Transportation in excess of 30 miles will be subject to an additional charge of $3.00 per mile, one way.

Forwarding of Remains to another Funeral Home $2,195.00

This charge includes transfer of remains to the funeral home, within a 30-mile radius, basic services of funeral director and staff, embalming and transfer to a common carrier within a 30-mile radius of our funeral home.

Receiving of Remains from another Funeral Home $1,495.00

This charge includes transfer from a common carrier within a 30-mile radius and basic services of the funeral director and staff.

Direct Cremation (Range of Prices) $1,900.00 to $8,395.00

Our charge for direct cremation includes transfer of remains to the funeral home, within a 30-mile radius, basic services of funeral director and staff, refrigeration (up to 5 days) and crematory fee.

If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are rigid fiberboard boxes or wooden cremation containers. Our crematory does not permit the use of alternative containers made of non-rigid materials.

Simple Aquamation (Water Cremation) $2,795.00

An alternative to flame cremation, aquamation is a water-based process that returns the same result (“ashes”) but at a fraction of the carbon footprint. The price includes basic services of funeral director and staff, daytime transfer of remains to funeral home, refrigeration (up to 5 days), and aquamation fee.

Immediate Burial (Range of Prices) $2,295.00 to $17,545.00

Our charge for immediate burial includes transfer of remains to funeral home, within a 30-mile radius, basic services of funeral director and staff, refrigeration (up to 5 days), coordination and direction of immediate burial, and transportation to a cemetery within 30 miles of our funeral home. You may provide a casket or select any casket from our Casket Price List.
