Alfred Wilson Obituary

Alfred Leon Wilson Jr., 75, of Renton, Washington, passed away on July 8, 2018 peacefully in his sleep. Born to Alfred Leon Wilson Sr. and Lizzie McCray-Jones in Zachary, Louisiana June 29, 1943. A graduate from Chaneyville High School. He continued on to work for the United States Postal service and retired from there.

Alfred is survived by daughter Nazhaya Cornett and Aunts Bertha Nixon-Curtis, Mabel Morgan, Clara Lewis, and Etta Williams along with a host of cousins, friends and family.

Alfred loved cooking, getting together and partying with friends and family. He was always ready to rack those domino bones and he knew he was the “Champ”. Emerald Downs has seat with his name on it.  He loved the horses.

The family would like to express our sincere thanks to the incredible staffs of SHAG Cedar River Court, Columbia Funeral Home and Crematory and the Greater Glory Ministries.

The family appreciates the support and prayers from the community. All are welcome to attend the repass following the memorial service at The Players Club 22406 Pacific Hwy. S, Des Moines, WA 98198.
