Barbara Brown Obituary

Barbara Diane Brown passed away on the evening of August 2nd, 2019 due to complications from cancer. Barbara, affectionately known as Barb and BB was born on August 26th, 1953 in San Diego, CA and was the 4th child born to Dallas and Louise Nailon.

Barbara graduated from Lincoln High School and married Benjamin Brown in 1970. From this union two beautiful daughters were born, Trinese and Kim. Her marriage dissolved in 1983 and she never remarried. In 2013 Barbara relocated to Seattle, WA where she resided until her passing.

Barbara spent the early years of her career working in the electronics industry at Fujitsu Electronics. For the last 20 years, Barbara worked as an in-home health care provider. It was here where she was at her best, tapping into her kind loving spirit to care for and help others. Being a care giver is something that brought her great joy and personal satisfaction. She genuinely loved all of her clients and often built long lasting relationships with the families of those she cared for.

In addition to the love for her clients, Barbara also had many friends and was always the life of any party.  When she was not working Barbara enjoyed listening to the Blues, being near lakes, oceans, and waterfalls, and driving through the lush green landscape of the Pacific Northwest.  She loved butterflies and  her life embodied their free spirit and beauty.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents Dallas and Louise Nailon and is survived by her daughters Trinese Clark (Rodney), Kimberly Brown-George (Tramon), her grandchildren Ciera Lynch, Harrison Clark, and Oliva Clark, her siblings, Clinton Nailon (Norma-Jean), Gloria Williams (James), Dallas Lee Nailon  (Carole), Arvesta Nailon, Debbie Nailon and a host of nieces and nephews, neighbors and friends who all loved her dearly.

She will forever be remembered for her infectious laugh, kind hearted spirit and her amazingly beautiful smile that lit up every room she entered.

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
