Catherine Lee
It is with profound regret that we announce the passing of Catherine Lee of Seattle at the age of 87.
Mrs. Lee died peacefully surrounded by family after a brief illness on June 6th, 4:20 pm 2018.
Catherine was born in what was then known as Amoy, China to Y.F. Tam and C.G. Ho on November 25th, 1930.
Catherine shared that she had a very happy childhood until she and her siblings were orphaned during the Second World War. After the war, Catherine trained and worked as a surgical nurse in Hong Kong before immigrating to Seattle to join her younger siblings Andrew and Steven in the early 1970’s. She proudly became a United States Citizen and shortly thereafter met and married Victor Lee of Ventura, California. Catherine enjoyed being a homemaker to Victor and their children in California; her hobbies included gardening and baking. After raising their children, Victor and Catherine made Kirkland their home in the early 1990’s.
Catherine was preceded in death by her beloved husband Victor and son David. She is survived by her children Bruce (Married to Wan Pen), Kathy Kimmet (Married to Brian), Clyde (Married to Lynn); her grand children Brandon, Brianna, Alyssa, Jacob and Ryan. Mrs. Lee is also survived by her elder siblings; Sister Theresa and Sister Mary of the Order Santa Rosa De Lima in Macau, her younger brother Andrew Ho, (Married to Francis) their children, grandchild of Seattle and Anchorage.
Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, June 23rd 2018 at 9:30am, preceded by visitations at 8:30am

Interment will be at Holyrood Catholic Cemetery at 11:30am, officiated by Deacon Kwok Chin
Wake will follow at Joyale Restaurant at 1:30 pm
