Cherie Yvette (Guion) Santiago, 62, was born in Seattle, WA, on October 24, 1957. As a result of cancer, she was called home to be with her heavenly father on Tuesday, November 19, 2019.
She was a resident of Federal Way, WA and was employed by Nordstrom (store 1) for more than 20 years. Cherie was a prayer warrior who loved the Lord with all her heart. Her hobbies consisted of scrapbooking family albums, renovating Victorian doll houses, Journaling, and she was an extremely talented artist. Her favorite pastimes included watching classic movies and going to antique stores, she loved finding little treasures. Christmas was her favorite holiday and giving gifts was the highlight of her year.
Cherie was preceded in death by her father James Guion Jr. and her brother James (Jimmy) Guion III. She is survived by her mother, Frances Furman, and her sister’s, Colette Guion and Renee (Guion) Wheaton and (Xavier) Wheaton.
Cherie’s children and spouses, Damulaan Santiago, (Mirla) Santiago, Danielle (Santiago) Lorca and (Jay-R) Lorca. Grandchildren who she simply adored are, Malaya Santiago, Nuani Santiago, Ivy Cherie Lorca, Azania Santiago, Mateo Lorca, Kamya Santiago.
Nieces, Renisha Seraile and Monique Guion. Nephews, Devon Guion and Thomas Wade III. Great-nieces, Deja Marie Moore, Dalilah Guion, Caylin Barnes.
