Ilene Lolla (Softky) Montreuil

Ilene Iolla Softky Montreuil age 83, of LaFayette, GA passed away Monday – March 18, 2019. She was born in Seattle, Washington to the late George Allen & Melvia Irene (nee Buettner) Softky. She resided most of her life in the Seattle area and worked various jobs mostly in food preparation. She was of the Lutheran faith. She enjoyed bowling, fishing, word puzzles and having her beer and a smoke. Some of her favorite foods included smoked salmon, fresh oysters and enjoying a Sonic burger with Tim. She enjoyed traveling with Melinda and was able to enjoy the pleasures of traveling several countries. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Louis Joseph Montreuil whom she enjoyed sixty-two years of marriage. She is survived by their children: Christopher A. Montreuil of California, Melinda M. (Timothy G.) Schmiedehausen of Cloudland, Georgia, Brian L. Montreuil of Seattle, Washington, seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on Wednesday – March 27, 2019 at Riverton Crest Cemetery in Tukwila, Washington celebrating Ilene’s life.
