James 'JB' Berry, Sr., 72 was born in Bremerton Washington on September 18th, 1946. He passed on January 11th, 2019 in Everett Washington.
In September 1972 he married Gloria Warren. Together they raised 3 children. Lori, Parchia and James Jr.
During his time with us, he enjoyed being with his 4 grand children and 4 great grand children. Also following the local sports teams was one of his favorite past times. Especially the Seattle Seahawks and the Washington Huskies.
But most know him as an avid fisherman. Whether he was standing on a pier, sitting in his 'pink' row boat or in a 20 foot bass boat; James was known to cast a line anytime weather permitted. Or not. Nothing pleased him more than to catch his fill of fish and happily share them with friends and family.
James had several jobs in the Seattle area through out the years. Alaskan Copper in the 70's. Consolidated Laundry in the 80's. The Pacific Science Center in the 90's. Making friends, memories and sharing fishing tips along the way.
James will joining his wife of 46 years in the next step of their journey. James is survived by his 3 children, 4 grand children and 4 great grand children. As well as brothers Gregory and Jeffrey. Sisters Audrey, Beverly, Clarice and Regina.
Services for James will be held Saturday, January 26th, 2019 at Church of God Evangelistic Center. 2715 So Jackson Street, Seattle.
Internment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetary. 100 Blaine Ave NE, Renton.
