Modesto Villena Alejandro

Modesto Villena Alejandro, 86, of Seattle, Washington passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 18, 2018. His children and extended family are grateful for his unconditional  love and sacrifices he made, and for all the wonderful memories that he provided for his family.

Modesto is survived by his loving wife Herminigilda of 61 years, daughters Nilda, Adeline, Grace, Robiline and Emilyn, and sons Leon, Jay and Felipe and many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. Modesto was a loving father, husband, grandfather, uncle, and friend to everyone.

Modesto worked as a farmer and as a merchant dealing with agriculture and livestock in San Mariano, Philippines before working in Seattle, Washington as a Dietary Aide until retirement. He spent his free time traveling and raising roosters. Modesto was always there to help relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Columbia Funeral on Sunday, July 22, 2018. Funeral services for Modesto will be held at St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Seattle on Monday, July 23 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. He will be laid to rest at Lakeview Cemetery at 12 PM, Seattle, Washington.
