Renato Tullao Aguilar, 81, was born in Bayambang, Pangasinan, Philippines, Aug. 14, 1938. He passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family and loved ones on Saturday, December 14, 2019.
Renato was preceded in death by his parents, Col. Donato & Maria Aguilar, brothers, Ric, Orlando, Wally, and sister Elvira. He is survived by his daughters and son in-law. Veronica & Jason Lee, Rowena Aguilar, Connie Howard; grandchildren, Chloe, Nicole, Erin & Celine Howard; siblings, Lyn Borason, Bella Aguilar, Ayette De Guzman, Boy & Jun Aguilar, and many nephews and nieces.
Renato was 4th of 11 children. He started working at an early age as a shoeshine boy and later in construction. Studied Civil Engineering for 2 years at National university in Manila.
He later worked at National Bureau of Investigation capturing fingerprints, which eventually lead to pursuing a career as a Police Officer. As a Police Officer for Quezon City Police Department he was credited for capturing a notorious serial killer known as Waway.
Renato later fully embraced his Catholic faith, and started reading the Holy Bible, at least 3X. Became a Sto. Nino & Mama Mary’s devotee, praying the rosary religiously until he can no longer do so.
Migrated in the US in 1989, worked several jobs before he was referred to work at the Port of Seattle as Security officer until he retired in May 2009.
Renato was a strict yet mild mannered father. He had a sweet tooth, loved to sing and dance… a kind and loving father, father in law, grandfather, son, brother, cousin and uncle to many nephews and nieces.
