Adrian Mansion Fortman - A Life
ADRIAN MARY MANSION-FORTMAN joined the Lord on Friday, March 20, 2020, at age 94. Her husband, James Fortman, preceded her 10 years prior. She leaves behind her precious and devoted adopted son, Yansheng, her daughter-in-law Yikun, grandson David, his wife, and great-grandchildren Austin and Kendrick.
Auntie Adrian, as she often referred to herself, was born on December 15, 1925, in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was the adopted daughter of Lethia and Charles Mansion. The family moved to Chicago in 1930 and, subsequently, to Seattle in 1951.
God's gift to this world, Adrian tirelessly involved herself in bringing others to Christ through child evangelism as a Bible Study fellowship and ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher.
Retired for many years from trucking company Kenworth, Adrian had served as the receptionist then secretary supervisor of her entire department.
A more positive person one would never want to meet. She was a joy to be around.
Due to the restrictions of the coronavirus, there will be no services.
Adrian, prior to her death, requested for anyone not to send flowers. Instead, she would like any donations to go to:
