Anita Marie Coover

Anita Marie Coover, age 93, died Wednesday, February 5, 2020 in Des Moines, WA. 

Jim and Anita Coover had a loving and lasting marriage for 69 years.  Anita Coover was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She dedicated her life to her family and their home.  She is survived by her four children, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  She taught her children the importance of health, good food, education and doing your best.  She liked to cook, bake, paint, play cards with Dad, and spend time outdoors.  Her grandchildren knew her as a kind and loving grandmother who created many fond memories.  She was a hands-on grandmother.  She loved to play with them, as well as baking cookies together, going to the park, camping, and even climbing into the sandbox to play with her grandson. We will miss her delicious dinners, homemade pies, cookies, jams, jellies and applesauce, as well as the perfect Thanksgiving turkey and gravy.  Because of her presence in our lives, we have many wonderful memories that we will cherish forever.  Thank you for a wonderful life you have given us.  We love you forever.  Rest in peace Mom and Dad.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, February 20th  at 10:15 AM Tahoma National Cemetery 18600 SE 240th St. Kent, WA. 98042
