Betty Louise Brown was born January 6,1951 in Gillett, Arkansas to the late Cloister and Annie Lee Wilkerson-Brown.
She accepted Christ at an early age at Love Rest #2 Baptist Church in Gillett, Arkansas.
After graduating from Gillett High School, she earned B.S.E. in Elementary Education from Seattle Central. She became a teacher at Fircrest High school where she gained more desire for teaching children with disabilities. She later transferred and retired from Shoreline School District to continue her passion for motivating and empowering students.
She was very active after retirement by continuing to be a foster parent for many years and looking forward to every year with her grandchildren. They went on several adventures that included traveling and exploring different educational and fun sites.
Betty enjoyed participating in organizing family time, traveling to Africa, mentoring, and teaching, and making life lovable memories.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents Cloister and Annie Lee Wilkerson-Brown and four brothers CC, Leroy, Willie Ester, Mayco Brown, 2 sisters Mary Pauline Miller, Bessie Lee Burse.
She leaves in her cherish memories a son Curtis LaMarr Brown of Portland, OR, five grandchildren Antwon LaMarr Brown, Maci Elizabeth Brown, Mikayla Renee Bauman, Madison Rose Bauman, Xavier Albert Pahl Brown, and two sisters Atlonia Green of Fresno, CA, Lou Ella Taylor of Little Rock, AR and Special Friends Patricia Humphrey and David Washington both of Seattle, Washington, and host of nieces and nephews relatives and friends.
