Burt Austin McDonald (55), beloved son and brother, passed away peacefully in Seattle, Washington on May 5, 2023.
Born on May 22,1967 in Chicago, Illinois, Burt is the son of Emerick McDonald and Helen Piontek. He is the brother of Beverly Piontek, Bonnie Angela Herrings, John Piontek, Matthew Piontek, and Gabriel Piontek. Burt, nicknamed Brian, was his mother’s favorite son.
Burt discovered a passion for performing and for art at an early age which afforded him various opportunities for artistic expression. He attended Calumet High School in Calumet Township, Indiana.
Burt loved traveling and meeting new people. He will be remembered for his free spirit, generosity, and a megawatt smile. He was also known for his poetry and comedic personality.
