On Monday, December 16, 2019, Gregory P. Rosso, a loving son, brother, and friend to all, passed away at the age of 55. Greg was born on September 20, 1964 in Seattle, WA to Jerry & Carol Rosso.
Greg was involved with Seattle Parks and Recreation Specialized Programs, Special Olympics and Renton Parks Specialized Programs for many years. He participated in basketball, softball, bowling, swimming, and track & field where he won several medals and ribbons. He enjoyed being involved in a variety of classes, including cooking, fun fitness, and art, where he learned life skills and built friends for life. One of his favorite things to do was to take long walks on the beach at Ocean Shores in search of finding shells to bring home. He was the life of the party. If it was your birthday, he’d have his guitar ready to sing the rousing chorus of ‘Happy Birthday’ to you. And was always ready to dance! He was known for his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit.
Greg is survived by his parents, Carol and Jerry Rosso, brother Ron (Carolyn), sister Pam (Dean) Rock, and brother Brian and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on February 8th 11a at Billy Baroo’s at Foster Golf Course, 13500 Interurban Ave S., Tukwila, WA 98168
Donations in honor of Greg can be made to Seattle Parks Specialized Programs 4554 NE 41st St, Seattle, WA 98105
