Henry James Deloney was born on August 13th, 1940 to the proud parents of Conrad and Baby Ruth Deloney. Henry was the third born of five children, his older sister Arcilla Deloney, Dan Charles (better known as DC) Herman Deloney, Henry Deloney, and John L. Deloney. Henry was born in Little Rock, Arkansas and later in life the family migrated to Casa Grande, Arizona where he met his beautiful wife Icola Hale. They married on January 11th, 1959 and celebrated 63 years of marriage this year. During their union they had three children, Victor Deloney, Vince Deloney, and Lizzie Deloney.
Henry was a hard worker. He balanced a boxing career, being a loving husband and father. He would go to work, come home, help change and wash diapers, then go to workout for boxing and come home tired, but still found the energy to be a loving father. He moved his family form Arizona to Oregon, before finally settling in Seattle, Washington.
During his life he was blessed with grandchildren; Brian, Christopher, Icola, Stephen, Rueben, Coryell, Cornell, Denzell, and Raphael along with nine great-grand children. Henry also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews that he loved dearly. Henry touched the lives of everyone who knew him and he will be truly missed.
