Jeanne Ida (Piazzoni) Hawkins

Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and friend passed away peacefully on July 8th, 2019. She was not only our Mother, but a Mother to many. Her heart always had room for more “kids” to love.

After her diagnosis on March 25th, 2019 of pancreatic cancer, she decided to grab life with both hands and enjoy what time she had left. Her main concern was to make sure we all knew how much she loved us.

She enjoyed the last four years of her life at Stafford Suites immensely and made many new friends. While at Stafford Suites she enjoyed playing Bingo, learning new games, meal time with friends, and attending the worship service every week.  She always had time to harass the staff that she loved so much!

My sister and I will be forever grateful for the care and friendships that she found with all of you.  Our Mom became a new person in this incredible environment. Her laughter and hugs will be missed by many, and we share in your sadness. In her memory please make sure you laugh and enjoy everything you can. When you think of her just know she is looking down from heaven sending you her love.
