Jewell Dean Ellis-Eyler

Jewell Dean Braun Ellis-Eyler passed away on Sept. 28, 2022. She was born Nov. 23,1937 to Willie H. Braun and Marguriete Ellin Struck Braun in Brenham, Tx. 
Jewell graduated from Brenham High School and went to Blinn college. She graduated from UT Galveston and earned her nursing degree. She worked as a Cardiac care nurse for nearly 40 years at Brackenridge Hospital in Austin, TX. 
Jewell loved her pets, enjoyed sewing, traveling and was very active in her chruch, United Christian Church of Austin. 
She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands Brehon Ellis, and James Eyler and daughter, Reola Margaret Ellis.
She is survived by partner, Richard Johnson, Brother, Calvin Brain, daughter and husband , Laura Dean and Phillip Oberts, granddaughters and husbands, Sarah and Cody wells and Laura and Joshua Drummond, nephews and wives Elan and Dedra Braun and Kase and Dora Braun, 3 great grandsons and many other nieces and nephews that will miss her.
