Paterno A. Pascua

Paterno A. Pascua passed away peacefully on April 16, 2023 at the age of 83.

He was born on August 13, 1939 in Narvacan Ilocos Sur, Philippines. He and his family moved to Seattle in the late 1960’s where he married his loving wife Patria and raised a family.

Paterno’s warm smile, easygoing personality and generous heart endeared him to all who met him. He enjoyed gardening, poker, watching sports and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years Patria, his sisters Fredelina Pascua, Julita PeBenito, his children Roberto (Anna) Pascua, Janice (Romir) Jimenez, Melissa (Brian) Dowd, and grandchildren Jayna (Marc) Pascua, Rolando (Abigail) Pascua, Keira Dowd, Patrick Dowd and Dante Jimenez.  He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nephews and great-grandchildren.

There will be a viewing on Tuesday April 25, 2023 at Columbia Funeral Home from 5-8pm with a rosary at 6pm.

Funeral mass will be on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 10:30am at St. Paul Parish in Seattle immediately followed by a burial at Greenwood Memorial Park in Renton.

Family and friends whose lives were touched by Paterno are welcome to join us to celebrate his life.
