Robin Crist Obituary

Robin Wayne Crist peacefully passed away on November 21, 2020 at his home in Seattle, WA with family members at his side.  Robin put up a courageous but short battle with cancer.

Robin was born September 28, 1951 in Anaconda, MT to Robert and Frances Crist.  Robin is survived by his wife, Lynne and daughter, Jessica of Seattle, WA.  He is also survived by his brothers, Randy, Steve and Kevin and his sisters Sherry Toft and Stacy Gessler.

Robin was a vibrant and friendly man with a big heart who always smiled and ready to email a joke.  Robin was that one friend you could count on to lend a helping hand.  In his younger days, he was an avid snow and water skier.  He hung up his skis for fishing, boating, golfing and recently RVing.  Robin shared his love for fishing with friends, and family by the numerous fishing trips he organized to Alaska and Canada.  Robin was a member of the Lions Club and Rainier Yacht Club.  Robin had a passion for aviation.  He spent many hours towing gliders on Tiger Mountain with his daughter in the back seat.  He even built a Glasair which he flew.

Robin was an entrepreneur who was intrigued with the mechanics of machinery.  Robin founded Pacific Wire in 1996 with a focus on manufacturing bale ties and the business is thriving to this day. Through the past 24 years, Robin expanded the business by increasing the variety of manufactured wire products, machinery production and fabrication.  Robin was proud to be a manufacture of American-made products.

Robin was married to his wife, Lynne for 31 years.  They were forever best friends.  He adored Lynne and reminded her daily of his love for her.   They traveled throughout the world and finally settled on a vacation home in Baja, Mexico.  Robin was a devoted father to Jessica.  He was the best and most caring friend a daughter could ever have or hoped for.  Robin was Jessica’s rock.

Robin will be forever missed.  Robin is now on his eternal fishing trip with his ass in the sand, toes in the water, a cold beer in his hand and No Bad Days.  A celebration of life will be held in late spring or early summer of 2021.  In lieu of gifts and flowers, please consider a contribution to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
