Ronald Casal

                 Ronald S. Casal, born 7/18/1933, died 2/9/2023 at Swedish First Hill hospital. Ron was the second son of Mary Mastro Casal and Oresto Casal. He graduated from Mount Virgin grade school and Franklin high school. He played varsity basketball and baseball during his time there. Ronald entered the U.S. Army in 1953 where he spent 2 years on active duty and received an honorable discharge in 1961. He was a member of the operators engineers for 65 years. (locals 302/612) He married Ginny Lee Husby in 1975 and she preceded him in death in 2022. Ron is survived by his brother Eugene Casal (Marie), sister Sophia Torelli, Peter R. Torelli (Karen), and many nieces and nephews. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
