Thin V. Ta
With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Thin Van Ta who passed away peacefully at the age of 70 on Saturday May 27th, 2023 after a long battle with complications from a traumatic brain injury.
Thin was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who grew up in Saigon, Vietnam where he worked as an office clerk in the US Airforce Department during the Vietnam’s War. He migrated to Seattle, Washington with his wife and kids in 2002 where he worked as an assembly worker until his retirement in 2020.
Thin enjoyed reading his Vietnamese’s newspapers which he got from his daily trip to the supermarket. His favorite food was “banh mi” and would always buy extra to give to his wife, kids and grandkids.
Thin is survived by his wife, 3 brothers, 1 sister, 6 children and 7 grandchildren. He will always be remembered for his strong, generous and free spirit.
The service for Thin will be held on Sunday June 4th, 2023 with viewing from 3pm to 5pm at:
