Wade “Waders” Herbert Haraldson
January 19, 1958 ~ February 26, 2021
Seattle, Washington
The very special son of Herb and Patricia Haraldson, Wade passed away unexpectedly on February 26, 2021 due to natural cause.
“Waders” being the gentlest and most tender of souls had simple passions; motorcycle rides, swimming, thrill rides, and Disneyland. But above all else, Wade’s greatest joy throughout life was simply to be your friend.
Unable to speak since birth, Wade found his own very special way to communicate. Often a finger point, sometimes distinctive verbalizations, occasionally an expression was enough, and many times Waders would articulate his individualism and just do what he pleased. We all loved Wade for that. Anyone who knew Wade, even briefly, quickly developed their own unique and extraordinary relationship.
In his early years Wade participated in a fledgling educational program at Northwest Center. These programs were designed to provide a safe, positive and quality learning experience for young disabled children like Wade. As an adult Wade found training and employment at several businesses, most notably Olympus Electronics, Northwest Center, and briefly 2003-2005 his own business producing party bags.
Wade lived a life of kindness and acceptance, effortlessly demonstrating all that can be good in a person. Quick to smile and a keen sense of humor, Wade did not harbor ill feelings towards anyone. His heart did not know anger, hate or prejudice. He made no judgment about anyone’s looks, opinions, or past. If you offered Wade friendship he gladly accepted. Unconditionally.
Wade has joined his parents and two sisters, Tricia & Marcella, in an Eternal Heaven, filling a void reserved for only the most innocent and purest of mind, heart, body and soul.
