Yvette Davon Wimms Lovett

The kindest of soul and heart, Yvette “Evi” Davon Wimms Lovett passed away September 8, 2020.

Known for compassion and always striving to look forward, we fondly remember the joy she brought to everyone around her.  Evi enjoyed all that life had to offer; some will remember the playful sarcasm she brought to a conversation, others looked to her as a guiding mother figure during uncertain times.  Many of us fortunate enough to know Evi just for her friendship; sometimes comforting, sometimes combative, often inquiring, but in a way that made us think and question our own thoughts.  Above all and ever present was a friendship, love and kindness everyone that knew her could always count on.

Although surrounded by friends, and loving family not far away, Evi was on a path through life that only she could navigate, imposed through necessity born of unimaginable hardships.

Survived by her child, Luca Lovett, whose love for each other never wavered.  And with great sadness, preceded by her infant children; Cerra ~1999, Nesta Alexander ~2005, and lastly, in 2008 a newborn received to Heaven, not yet graced with a name.

Yvette has found peace with her beloved and deeply missed children, and can now share in their love for all Eternity.
