Emma Sumulong Custodio

                Emma Sumulong Custodio  was born August, 12, 1933 in Pagsanjan, Laguna Philippines to Francisca Cobarrubias and Porfirio Sumulong.  She was married to Benjamin San Pedro Custodio, and had 5 children, Zenaida Custodio, Fred Custodio, deceased, married to Adelina Sy Custodio with children Joshua and Karima, Chrisna Custodio Jose, married to Meridith Jose, Marlyn Custodio Santos, married to Adolfo Santos with children, Braxton and Bradley, and Sally Custodio Reyes, married to John Reyes with child Carlo. Emma owned and operated a beauty salon and handicraft store during her younger years in the Philippines. She moved to Seattle with her husband Ben in 1987, helped care for her grandchildren Braxton, Bradley and Carlo. Her last employment was at Skyway Luggage in Seattle.  Emma was fun loving, a caring mother and grandmother who loved to laugh, eat and travel. On July 26, 2015, she died of natural cause in her sleep.
