Hau Ngoc Le

       Le Ngoc Hau was the second of eight children born to Le Ngoc Son and Le Thi Thau.  He was born on 20 April 1951 in Ha Noi, Vietnam. At a very young age, Hau moved to Xieng Khouang, Laos and later moved to Vientiane, Laos, where he and his siblings spent the majority of their childhood years.

        In 1976, Hau immigrated to the United States with his then-wife, Thu, and brother, Phuong. Hau settled in Seattle, Washington and received a master's degree in education from the University of Washington.  He taught mathematics at Franklin High School for several years before retiring in 2007.  Hau moved back to Ha Noi, Vietnam, to enjoy his early retirement.  He enjoyed playing table tennis daily.

        Hau passed away peacefully on Wednesday, 24 June 2015.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Le Thi Thau, father, Le Ngoc Son, brothers, Le Ngoc Duc and Le Ngoc Phuong, sister, Le Thi Ngoc Lan, and second wife, Rebecca Varney.  He is survived by his son, Le Kinh Luan, daughter, Le Viviane, brothers, Le Ngoc Tien, Le Ngoc Nhu and Le Ngoc Thanh, and his sister, Mai Mostad.

He is forever loved and missed by many.
