I was fortunate to meet Rosalie when I was about 15 years old through my dear friend, Debbie Erickson. Over the years Rosalie became one of my dearest lifelong friends. We had many memorable adventures. One of my most treasure memories is going to Los Angeles, We went to Disneyland and rode the infamous roller coaster, The Matterhorn.. She screamed at me because it was a little scarier than i had let on. Later of course we laughed and laughed about it. We also drove to visit
Don's relatives for dinner but got hopelessly lost. We started laughing because Don was so frustrated. He pulled the car over on the side of the freeway and yelled for everyone to get out of the car because we couldn't stop laughing. Rosalie, meanwhile was sticking her tongue out and making funny faces, That Don didn't see, to make us laugh even louder. Don was so frustrated he got out of the car
instead( on the side of the freeway, no less) That's when Rosalie lost it too
.
We always laughed for hours on end on any occasion with Rosalie always cooking and all of us eating her many fabulous meals

Her stories of her with the nuns at Holy Names Academy made everyone laugh until we cried. She always said what was on her mind even at a young age.
.
I will treasure each and every story and memory. She filled my life with so much joy. I thank the Good Lord I was blessed to be a part of her life.
I love you always and forever my dear friend, Rosalie

I never knew anyone who was as "real" as Rosalie. Her great laugh. Her love of her husband, and her sons something to be admired. Her loyalty to her friends a gift from inside herself. I loved her spirit. The last time I saw her was at our 50th class reunion. She was always the same: a genuine jewel. I am so sorry for your loss and others as well.

I worked with your Mom for a couple of years with her health care. I loved her dearly, and still do. She was a wonderful, caring, sweet lady who I will always miss. For years she insisted on making me lunch when I saw her. Her cooking was legendary, she put so much love into her food. I loved all her stories, she loved to tell about her boys. My condolences to your family, you are all in my thoughts. I plan to make a donation to a soup kitchen in her honor, she loved to show her love through food so I thought she would like that.
