Dorothy Mae Linarelli

Dorothy Mae Linarelli, 94, died peacefully at home Wednesday, September 7, 2016.

Mrs. Linarelli was a strong, independent woman, born in Honea, Texas, November 11, 1921 to Linwood Law and Ida Smith.  She worked on the family dairy farm and spent her early years in Willis, Texas.

A World War II veteran, she enlisted in the Women’s Army Air Forces in 1943 and served as a staff sergeant until her honorable discharge in 1945.

Dorothy was married to Frank Linarelli from 1946 until his death in 2000.  They raised two sons and worked together in the family window covering business for many years.

She is survived by her sons Ken and Larry (Dana), her grandsons Bob (Elizabeth) and Tom (Cheryl), Kevin (Erin) and her great grandsons Joseph, Matthew and Bodin.

We will miss her wit and intelligence, and most of all her unfaltering love.

At her request, no services are planned.  Remembrances may be sent to EvergreenHealth Foundation.   Burial at Calvary cemetery.
